Zac Efron - Efron Eyes Hangover Role

ZAC EFRON is eyeing a move into comedy - the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL star would love a role in THE HANGOVER sequel.
The actor moved away from his Disney roots with 2009 drama Me and Orson Welles, and this year (10) sees the release of his fantasy film The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.
But the 22 year old wants his next role to be more light-hearted.
He tells Access Hollywood, "(A role in The Hangover sequel) would be amazing. I think that they're amazing and I love the cast that they've got going on."
Writer/director Todd Phillips is busy working on a follow-up to the comedy smash, set to start filming later this year - and actor Ed Helms admits Efron would be a welcome addition to the cast: "I love that guy. He's actually really funny."
